Endless Water Adventures
You can bring your own boat or rent one from Forest Glen, your local party store. Corner Lake features its own boat launch to cater to all your boating needs. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a first-time paddler, the lake’s gentle waves and serene surroundings offer the perfect backdrop for your aquatic adventures.
Fireside Evenings
As the sun sets, enjoy your favorite fireside beverages and snacks. One of the great rooms boasts a stunning floor-to-ceiling fireplace, as well as a Wood Stove. Gather around with family and friends to share stories, laughter, and the warmth of the fire. It’s the ideal way to end a day filled with adventure.

Air Conditioning: NO- Ceiling fans are located in every room except the loft, and tower fans are throughout the house, which you are welcome to use!
ATV’s: Not permitted for use on property.
Animals: Deer, Fox, and Squirrels are common in the area.

Beach/Swimming: You can swim right from the property into Corner Lake! There is a sandy, hard bottom initially when you enter the water.

Boats: There is a paddleboard, kayaks, and tubes for guests to use during their stay! Life Jackets are provided.
Boat Launch: The boat launch is located 1.5 miles down the road at the Corner Lake Camp Ground.
Bugs: Mosquitoes are common in the summer months.
Cable: All TVs are capable of streaming, but do not have traditional cable.
Cell Phone Service: Cell service can be spotty, people have reported the best luck with AT&T.
Coffee Maker: There is a 14-cup drip coffee maker with coffee provided!

Dock: The dock is 30ft with a water depth of 5ft at the end. Available Memorial day thru Labor Day.
Drinking Water: This property does use well water. If you are particular about the smell, we recommend bringing bottled water for your stay.
Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.
Fireplace: There is a wood burning stove in the living room!
Fire-pit: Yes!
Fishing: Perch, Walleye, Bass, Bluegill, and Crappy Fish are native to the local lakes.
Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.
Golf: Pictured Rocks Golf: 27 minutes (19.9 miles)
Grill: There is a propane grill for guests to use!
Grocery Store: Forest Glen General Store: 8 minutes (4.7 miles)
Midway General Store- Convenience store and homemade pizza(3 miles)
Handicap Friendly: There are no additional features to make this property handicap friendly.
Heat: An electric heating system is used at the house.
Hunting: Not permitted on the property. Please follow all local and state guidelines if hunting in the area.
Internet/WIFI: There is high-speed Wi-Fi at this location! If you are having trouble with cell reception, we recommend using Wi-Fi calling.
Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and bath towels.
Parking: There is a half-circle drive with room for 5 cars MAX.
Pets: Pets are not allowed at this rental.
Privacy: There are neighbors across the street, but none within view on either side of the house.
Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
