Totti's Bar and Restaurant (number 10 on map) across the road has good food, as does the Welcome pub (number 11 on map), across the other side of the lights on Evans Street. A lovely small Vegetarian restaurant (the Harvest, no 17 on map) is also available just past the Welcome pub. Roberto’s (number 14 on map) at the end of Evans Street sells delicious ready-made food and desserts if you want to eat in. There are several eateries on Darling Street (at the top of Red Lion street opposite the house), and in the local area. The nearest Pharmacy, turn left at the top of Red Lion St and it’s on your left. There are also many great takeaway options on Menulog. Examples of restaurants include; Thai- Blue Ginger or Pepper Seeds. Chinese-Blue Eyed Dragon Taiwanese- Belly Bao Lebanese-Jasmine 1 Australian- The Cottage Bar and Garden Italian - Il Grappolo Cucina e Pizzeria The Sydney Fish Market is within walking distance across Anzac Bridge. There is a Saturday Farmers Markets (9-1pm) and General all day Saturday markets on Darling Street on Saturdays in Rozelle and Balmain to browse. Shopping. There is a Woolworths in Balmain, about a 5-minute drive away, which does deliver. There is also an IGA closer on Darling Street, within walking distance (but more expensive). There is also a Coles Supermarket and lots of Retail outlets at Birkenhead Point (Number 12 on map). Saturday Farmers markets (open until 1pm) provide fresh produce and hot food also with walking distance. Bottle shops for alcohol are on Darling Street and Victoria Road also.
