Skylights, the desk window, and the slider to the furnished deck keep the room cheerfully bright. The ceiling and portable fans will keep you comfortable on warm summer days. The well-equipped kitchen and large countertop will make cooking enjoyable. A French door refrigerator, extra cabinets, and a unique floating wine rack provide ample storage for groceries and beverages. The fridge has an ice maker and cold water dispenser. The dining table seats five, and the counter has four bar stools. The high open beam ceiling, custom cabinetry, mountain decor, and hand-stained wood create a unique ambience.

There is a Whole Foods Market across the street, a CVS pharmacy next door, and a large Safeway market about three blocks west. A dozen restaurants are within a stroll. A mile East, Heavenly Village and the casinos have dozens more eateries and shopping choices.

Winter weather requires snow tires or chains to reach the Tahoe basin, but you’ll find the Lakeland parking lots are typically cleared better than the streets, and the maintenance crew will clear the walkways by mid-morning after a snowfall.
