Collineige is thrilled to introduce Chalet Blaitiere to you. Built very recently it has everything that you would hope for in a new and contemporary chalet. Light and airy, it has an open plan twist on the traditional chalet style, with cutting edge decor and furnishings.
With 3/4 double bedrooms, 1 double/twin bedroom and 5 fabulous bathrooms the chalet is perfect for families or groups of friends. All bedrooms have separate WCs and there are also 2 for guests. Two of the bedrooms have their own dressing rooms as well. If there are 10 of you then the cinema room (smart TV) becomes the fifth bedroom. In the entrance hall there is plenty of cupboard space for ski gear and also provided are boot warmers. And to top it all there is a wonderful sauna (with its own shower) - the perfect place to relax after a day’s skiing. There is a ski locker in the outside porch.
The chalet is laid out over 3 floors, and on the first floor are the living and dining areas with a gas heated stove and wonderful views. The state of the art kitchen area is tasteful and up to the moment, with spacious work surfaces and all the latest gadgets. Any cooking should be an absolute pleasure.
Please note that for safety reasons barbecues are not permitted.
Situated in the quiet area of Les Bois, close to Les Praz, Chalet Blaitière has a rural outlook and far reaching views towards the mountains, not least Mont Blanc. There is a gorgeous balcony where you can enjoy those views, and a terrace. The chalet is deceptively close to the nearest lift station, it is less than 5 minutes drive, or about 15 minutes walk to La Flegère. There is also the charming L’Epicerie in Les Praz, a small grocery shop and delicatessen. Of course good restaurants abound in Chamonix and one of them, La Cabane des Praz, happens to be pretty close by.
Please note that due to our licensing and insurance arrangements only our trained staff may work at the chalet.
"We had a magical stay at this amazing house for a summer holiday. Two full size families with kids felt very comfy with tons of privacy, however, there were also perfect public spaces for everyone to spend great time together!" LPAug ’23

About the area
Chamonix, France, is a picturesque destination nestled in the French Alps, offering a unique blend of natural beauty, adventure, and European charm. It's often referred to as the "Gateway to the European Cascades," making it an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts. The region is home to towering peaks such as Mont Blanc - Western Europe's highest mountain - which serves as a stunning backdrop for various activities like hiking, climbing, paragliding and mountain biking in summer and skiing or snowboarding in winter.
The town itself is charming with its traditional Savoyard architecture. Its lively streets are filled with quaint cafes and restaurants that serve delectable French cuisine and local delicacies like raclette and fondue. Numerous boutiques can be found here too, selling everything from high-end fashion to artisanal crafts.
