Chalet Les Tissourds is a wonderful Maison de Pays that has been beautifully restored and refurbished, a luxury self-catered chalet in a class of its own. Built originally in 1924 the chalet is brilliantly located, just a 5 - 10 minute level stroll to the centre of Chamonix and near fabulous restaurants. Situated in a quiet road there are wonderful views up to Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons and across to Brévent on the other side of the valley.
A modern design within a traditional setting, the chalet is a delicious mixture of old and new - Contemporary Chamonix Chic.
On the ground floor there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, plus a boot room with boot warmers. There is also an extra sitting room (with a single bed if required) and office area. The first floor has two double/twin bedrooms, one of which is ensuite, and a further double bedroom and separate shower room. The master suite occupies the top floor, with kingsize bed, a single bed if required and separate bathroom. On the lower ground floor there is a cosy snug with sofas, beanbags and a 130cm screen. Next door is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Take a plunge in the hot tub, outside on the decking with fabulous views of Mont Blanc.
Please note that due to our licensing and insurance arrangements only our trained staff may work at the chalet.
’This is an amazing chalet, we would stay here again in a heartbeat! It was incredibly peaceful, but a short walk right into the heart of Chamonix (with a wonderful boulangerie only a few minutes away). The views of the mountains on all sides are stunning! And the chalet could not have been more perfectly outfitted. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and plentiful! The kitchen is well-stocked, both with plans, pots, etc., but also thoughtful staples (granola, spices, oil, pasta, etc). The caretakers left us a fresh bottle of milk and jam in the fridge when we arrived! And they had a perfect pack n’ play, with a real crib mattress, set up for our toddler upon arrival. We could not have been happier, it is a wonderful home and a perfect launch pad for all of Chamonix’s adventures.’ HG June 2024
’Our stay was outstanding from start to finish! Nestled in the heart of Chamonix with magnificent views of Mont Blanc, the chalet offered a luxurious yet cozy atmosphere. It was well-appointed with top-notch amenities and located conveniently close to ski slopes and town. The staff’s warm hospitality made our experience truly special. We can’t wait to return next year—a true gem in Chamonix!’ AS Mar 2024
