Crystal clear waters of Lake Charlevoix and the Boyne River provide unlimited opportunities for water fun. Enjoy the several beaches around town or the public fishing dock. Kayak down the Boyne River into Lake Charlevoix. Visit the amazing Young State Park with a fantastic beach on Lake Charlevoix, bring your bikes and ride the bike trail from Boyne City through Young State Park. Visits local unique favorites like Lavender Hill Farms and the Petoskey Wine Region (formerly the Bay View Wine Trail).
Boyne Mountain Resort is only 6 miles away and offers skiing and snowboarding, zip lining, horseback riding, fat tire snow biking, snowshoeing, tubing, the largest indoor water park in Northern Michigan- Avalanche Bay, as well as the Sky Bridge, the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge. The resort also offers a host of eateries.
Avalanche Mountain Preserve, which comprises 300-plus acres, is less than a mile away from our cottage and offers many types of recreational activities including hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, jogging, and snowmobiling, as well as the newest additions, an archery range, and disc golf.

The completion of renovations in 2024 prepared this cottage with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Plenty of lighting, new mattresses, bedding and bath towels, charging stations, hair dryer, and bath amenities, as well as a well-stocked kitchen, will enhance your experience.
