Welcome to our Lake Placid home - the perfect spot for your next vacation to
this lovely community in Central Florida.
The home has recently been remodeled and features an open and spacious kitchen
with brand new appliances and lots of counter and storage space. You’ll find
basic cooking and kitchen utensils so you can easily make your own homecooked
meals. Inside there is a small table that can seat two guests, and out back we
have a lovely garden area with a picnic table which you will also enjoy dining
at, especially as it cools off in the evening. There is a TV in the living
room and bedroom, and free wireless internet is available throughout the home.
Guests can park in the driveway right out front, making it very easy to unload
your belongings when you arrive.
The home has one bedroom with a Queen sized bed and there is a full sized
Futon in the living room. This mobile accommodates 2 adults comfortably,
anymore than 2 adults may find it cramped. There is one bathroom,
appropriately decorated with bright Florida colors, that features a shower/tub
combination. We also provide bath towels to use during your stay.
Guests will have access to the on-site community clubhouse which includes
indoor games such as billiards, ping pong and darts, as well as a year-round
outdoor pool and tennis courts. We even have tennis rackets inside the home
for you to use. Guests will also have access to a shared coin operated laundry
facility. ** As guest you have access to a 45 foot long lot in storage
yard!!**
The home is situated in a quiet community just steps from Grassy Lake and
minutes to Lake Placid. There is a Winn Dixie grocery store just 6 minutes
away by car. You’ll find many enjoyable activities for you and your your
family within minutes of the property!
About Lake Placid:
One of Florida’s prettiest small towns, Lake Placid boasts nearly 50 outdoor
murals adorning its downtown buildings. Found in the lake-intensive center of
the state and known as the Caladium Capital of the World, Lake Placid’s
attractions include 27 freshwater lakes. The annual Caladium Festival is held
the end of July, Henscratch Farms Vineyard & Winery hosts an annual Grape
Stomp in August, and a Saturday Morning Market is held on the second Saturday
of each month October through March. Enjoy the area’s unique ecosystem at
Archbold Biological Station, as well as a historically good time at the Depot
Museum, home of the red caboose and local history artifacts displayed by the
Lake Placid Historical Society. In 2012, Reader’s Digest named Lake Placid
“America’s Most Interesting Town.”
Lake Placid is a 20 min drive to Sebring International Raceway which is the
birthplace of American Endurance Racing as well as America’s oldest permanent
road facility established in 1950.
