The apartment enjoys a bright and airy open-plan living space that incorporates a modern kitchen and is tastefully furnished with a comfortable sofa and a smart satellite flatscreen TV. Location
The property is located on the outskirts of Rijeka a 6-minute drive / 20-minute walk from the centre of Drenova on the Croatian mainland. Nicknamed "the lungs of the city" Drenova is known for its extensive green spaces and occupies a plateau above Rijeka. The town is also home to the Heritage Museum of Drenova (a 7-minute drive/25-minute walk) which showcases the area’s rich history and cultural heritage.
Rijeka itself is Croatia’s third-largest city and whilst better know as a port has several nearby beaches, Ploče, a Blue Flag beach and Sablićevo Beach, both of which are approximately a 13-minute drive away. The town is particularly known for its rich maritime history, Austro-Hungarian architecture and vibrant cultural scene. For culture and people watching guests should head to Korzo (a 10-minute drive) the city’s main pedestrian street, lined with cafes, shops, and historic buildings. For more culture and panoramic views of the city and Kvarner Bay the 13th-century fortress on Trsat Hill (a 25-minute drive) is also worth visiting. Here guests will find a cafe and museum exhibits.
There are several restaurants within a 15-minute drive of the property and the closest supermarket is a 5-minute drive away.
