VILLA CANTARA - TERNI AREA
Set in a 40-hectare agricultural estate including woods, cultivated fields, seasonal crops and a hazel grove, Villa Cantara is a beautifully renovated farmhouse with a private swimming pool. Perfect for a relaxing break with family or friends, the villa is also within driving distance of the main towns in the area (Viterbo, Terni, Rome, and Perugia) and well connected by train to Rome (45 minutes) and Florence (2 hrs 15 minutes). The surrounding woodland creates wonderful opportunities for walking and the town of Orte, about 7 km away, offers shops, restaurants, and other amenities.
The 250 square metre villa develops over two floors.
On the ground floor you will find a large living room (with comfortable seating and a table seating 6), a well-equipped kitchen (with a table seating 6), a laundry room, and a bathroom (with toilet). In the sleeping area on this floor, you will find one double bedroom (with double bed) and an accessible bathroom (with shower).
On the first floor you will find a small study and three bedrooms: one double bedroom (with double bed) with ensuite bathroom (with shower); two twin bedrooms (with 2 single beds that can be separate or pushed together to form a double) with ensuite bathrooms (with shower).
Outside, the villa sits in a large garden which spreads over two levels. On the upper level, you will find a covered terrace which allows for outdoor dining. On the lower level (down steps), you will find a private swimming pool (12 m x 6 m; depth 1.6 m) with a sun terrace (with sun loungers) and a grassy area to one side. Next to the pool, there is a small building with a bathroom (with toilet and wash basin), changing room and kitchenette (with hot plates and a small fridge). Behind the building you will find an outdoor shower (with cold water) and for cars, there is a shaded parking area.
