he villa is located on the eastern side of the territory of Augusta, a seaside town in the province of Syracuse. The coast is most likely rocky with small inlets. The contrast between the blue color of the water and the rocks make this strip of rocky coast typical and characteristic. Within a short distance from the property there are supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacies and all the necessary services. The tranquility of the location stands out in particular, far from the noise of the city and in direct contact with the sea. The town of Augusta, whose foundation is very old, offers many interesting places and a historical center full of services. The main attractions include the Swabian Castle, a medieval fortress that dates back to 1242 and the Spanish Gate built in 1681. About 40 kilometers from Catania, Augusta can be easily reached from the airport in just 30 minutes. In a few minutes by car from the property there’s the small village of Brucoli, which has now become a touristic attraction. Among the main attractions there is the Aragonese castle, symbol of the village, the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell'Adonai, an ancient place originally a cave, the marina and a series of typical restaurants. About 30 kilometers south of Augusta, there’s the internationally known city of Syracuse, part of the Val di Noto district, an area with beaches, naturalistic, artistic, historical and cultural places. The city of Syracuse and in particular the island of Ortigia, is an example of excellent conservation of Sicilian Baroque, also present in the nearby cities of Noto, Modica, Ragusa and Scicli. Syracuse is well served and offers multiple and distinct services to visitors, such as the marina, typical restaurants, bars, events, pedestrian alleys that cross the island of Ortigia with craft shops, art galleries, sacred buildings, as well as a variety of beach locations.
