Villa Emilia is a large property, located only four kilometres from the centre of Sorrento, where you can find many restaurants, shops, buses and the train station; it has a private swimming pool and offers beautiful views of the sea, Sorrento and even Mt Vesuvius. At about 200 metres from the villa, you can find some restaurant choices and the bus stop that takes you into Sorrento, Sant’Agata Sui Due Golfi, Amalfi and Positano. You will be able to find the nearest beach at 4km distance, in Sorrento, or at 7km in Nerano. The location of Villa Emilia is also ideal for those that enjoy a walk with trails to Sorrento and Punta Campanella near. With large outdoor spaces, this is the perfect holiday home for one or two families, and a perfect location for those that do not want to hire a car.
The villa occupies the top floor of a larger two floor villa, with lower floor occasionally being occupied by the owner (for only a few weeks a year) who has their own entrance and all outdoor spaces (swimming pool, terraces, etc) will be exclusively for your use. Villa Emilia is divided into a main house and an annex. From street level, going through the car park, we can reach the first floor via external stairs.
On the first level, we have the air conditioned large dining area with table for 10, chairs, TV. Extending from there, we find the kitchen, furnished with four-hob stove, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, and an electric espresso machine. At the end of the corridor, there is a bright and sunny living area with double sofa bed, another normal sofa, armchairs, TV, air con and large windows with sea views. The sleeping area on this floor consists of two double bedrooms with air con, wardrobe, desk and access to a balcony (balcony is shared with the other bedrooms) with sea views; one bedroom that can be twin or double (by joining the single ones together), has air con and access to the shared balcony. The balcony itself offers sea views and is equipped with a table, three chairs and two benches. There are two separate bathrooms, one with shower cubicle and the other with bath tub with shower head; both bathrooms have bidet, hairdryer, sink and toilet.
There is a separate annex, accessed via a few steps from the main building with the living room. Here, we find two double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower, TV, fridge and a small area with kettle and cups for tea and coffee. The annex offers air conditioning. Next to the annex, there is a terrace with sea views, tables and chairs.
Outside, the villa offers multiple terraces and outdoor spaces. There is the swimming pool area with private pool (12x2.5; 2.5m max depth; open from April 27 to November 7), equipped with sun lounges, deck chairs and benches, external cold shower and a bathroom with toilet. From the pool area, we reach another large terrace, with tables, chairs and sun lounges, partially covered. On the upper part of the villa, we find another terrace, ideal for al-fresco meals while you enjoy the sea views and stunning sunsets. Here, we find the barbecue, pizza oven and small outdoor kitchen with sink. From the living area, we can reach another partially covered terrace, furnished with tables and chairs, also great for al-fresco meals.
The villa offers a small gym area that can be used from 13:30 until 18:30. You can access the gym from the parking area.
Facilities: air conditioning, Wi-Fi Internet, satellite TV, DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, espresso machine, heating, hairdryer, kettle, parking, and barbecue.
