This luxurious apartment, in the village of Montroc, is a stylish conversion of a traditional farmhouse. It is close to skiing and all the amenities you might want for a perfect holiday all year round.
On the hillside overlooking the river Arve, with spectacular mountain views, the apartment, which sleeps 6, manages to be both sunny and cosy, with slate floors and glorious wooden finishing. The open-plan living area has 3 large glass doors that lead out onto private balconies at the front and side of the building. On the front balcony, there is a small table and chairs, where guests can relax and enjoy the view. Indoors, the décor is alpine but with a contemporary twist. The sitting area has a double sofa and a wood-burning stove. The wooden dining table is tucked next to the stove and seats 6 people with ease. There is a flatscreen TV above the table.
The open plan, rustic style, the wooden kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, raclette, fondue.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is on the same level as the living area, with wooden panelling and beams, a double bed and French windows onto a private balcony.
Bedroom 2: Reached via a mezzanine balcony above the living area, this cosy bedroom is tucked under the wooden eaves. There are two double beds and an en suite bathroom.

Bathroom 1: There is a stylish bath and basin in the master bedroom.
Bathroom 2: En suite to the second bedroom, this bathroom has a shower, basin and WC.
Extra: There is a separate WC near off the hallway.

Location
The apartment is in the village of Montroc, just a 2-minute walk from Montroc Le Planet train station, and 100m from shuttle buses to the slopes. It is a 15-minute walk to the nursery slopes of La Vormaine and the Le Tour de Col de Balme cable car.
The slopes nearby are suitable for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May.
All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding.
The Savoie Mont Blanc region is well known for its fine wines and cheese. Guests can visit the Ferme de Montroc (6 minutes walk), open on Tuesday and Friday afternoons, to buy the best local cheeses directly from the farm. There are other excellent restaurants and bars nearby to suit all budgets.
Geneva airport is a 1 hour 25-minute drive from the apartment. There are free shuttle services between Montroc, Chamonix and other villages in the valley, on the Mont Blanc Express.
