Relax in the idyllic surroundings of northeastern Slovenia, nestled among rolling hills, forests, and vineyards. This spacious house, surrounded by vineyards, is just minutes from the thermal spa town of Ptuj and serves as the perfect base for exploring Haloze and northeastern Slovenia. It comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, with plenty of marked hiking and cycling trails nearby. The hosts provide two mountain bikes, and it is also possible to rent two electric bikes.
The house features an open-plan living area with a dining table, comfortable seating, a flat-screen smart HD satellite TV and table football. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker hob, an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer and an additional breakfast table.

House Marija is located in the Haloze region, just minutes from the village of Cirkulane. The area is rich in vineyards, orchards, and forests, offering countless opportunities for hiking (along the Haloze hiking trail), cycling, mushroom foraging, fishing (on the Drava River) and enjoying nature. Visitors can also explore local farm tourism and sample traditional products.
The region is part of Slovenia’s wine-rich Styria, with wineries such as Familia Estate (350m away), Puklavec Family Wines, and Vinska Klet KOGL, providing wine tastings and insight into traditional winemaking practices.
The nearest town is Ptuj (20 min drive), Slovenia’s oldest town on the Drava River, featuring a charming medieval and Renaissance old town with picturesque squares, a castle, historic buildings, and cultural landmarks. Ptuj also offers a thermal spa with saunas, pools, and wellness treatments. Golf enthusiasts can visit Ptuj Golf Club (17km)
