Tucked away in a picturesque lane in the historic centre of Toscolano Maderno, this apartment sleeps 4 people. It is just a 10-minute walk from the lake shore and makes a great base for a holiday exploring Lake Garda and the surrounding countryside.
The historic residence, Sergio Il Gufo, has been sensitively converted into 3 apartments. This one, Orange, retains many of the building’s original features, including a beautiful open fireplace and beamed ceilings.
The open-plan living area has two sofas and a dining table with chairs. There is a separate kitchen which is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine.

Extra: Two single beds can be added to the living room.

The attractive tiled bathroom has a full bath with shower head, basin, WC and bidet.

Location
The apartment is located in charming lanes in Maderno’s historic centre and is ideally situated for many of the activities on offer in the area. The port in Toscolano Maderno is a stop-off point for ferries sailing around the lake. On the water, visitors can swim, fish, canoe, sail, windsurf and dive. Whilst on land, the lakefront is a glorious place to walk at any time of day. Away from the lake, there are hiking and mountain bike routes through scenic countryside, a golf course (13 minutes) and horseriding.
The town of Toscolano Maderno is packed with things to see. There are many different restaurants and cafés; and for self-catering, the weekly market (Thursday morning) provides excellent local produce to cook at home.
Lovers of art and history can visit the famous "Vittoriale degli Italiani" home of Gabriele D’Annunzio in Gardone Riviera and the new Salò museum called "MU SA”.
The nearest airports are Verona Villafranca (1 hour 5 minutes drive) and Milan Bergamo (1 hour and 15 minute drive).
