Kupa Street is located in Kazimierz, when the Jewish city was opened in 1608. In the 18th century, its current name was already in force before the mid-18th century and the 19th century and refers to the dissolution of the Kupa synagogue. Most of the buildings from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries were demolished and coexisted.
Krakowski Kazimierz is the historic Jewish district of Krakow, famous for its monuments and many attractions. The most useful street is ul. Szeroka. There are a many synagogues on Szeroka Street. The Old Synagogue, built in the 16th century, is the oldest in Poland and Europe. In addition to this synagogue, you can also visit others: Kupa, Tempel, Izaaka, Wysoka. An interesting and most famous place on the map of Kazimierz in Krakow is Plac Nowy - a market square with stalls, in the middle of which there is a characteristic building, called "Okrąglak", where you can taste the best casseroles in the world.
The next object is Plac Wolnica, which in the old days was part of the market square of the former Kazimierz. Behind the regulatory market there is the town hall, the building of which still stands today. There is also an ethnographic museum on Wolnica Square. They are available: Galicia Jewish Museum at ul. Dajwór and the Museum of Municipal Engineering, one of the most interesting museums in Krakow. It is located on the site of a former tram depot at św. Wawrzyńca ul. Continued use. An interesting place is the monastery and church on Skałka.
