Architectural textures, atmospheric lighting, and contemporary interior design combine to welcome you to an unforgettable designer home-away-from-home. Scenic, serene, and effortlessly convenient, it’s the perfect way to begin your morning or unwind as the sun sets
The open-plan living space in this home is a stunning example of innovative modern living. Dark built-in kitchen countertops frame picture windows, ensuring the view takes centre stage. Connecting you seamlessly to the outdoors, the countertop extends onto the covered terrace, creating an outdoor barbecue and prep space that complements the stylish, relaxed seating area. For more formal dining, head inside where you’ll find a dining table seating ten, surrounded by a clever mix of built-in banquette seating and contemporary dining chairs. A serene L-shaped cream sofa cradles the back corner of the room, overlooking a wall-mounted TV and fireplace. If you need additional room to spread out, a second sofa awaits in the boutique office space. This thoughtfully designed room includes desk space with two office chairs for working and doubles as a second sitting room, offering a shaded retreat with pool views through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. And that pool we mentioned? It’s completely private and surrounded by perfectly manicured lawns, loungers, a hanging egg chair, and outdoor showers with hot or cold water. It’s the ideal spot to spend a relaxed day in the sun, with a cool cocktail as an accompaniment.
The modern bedrooms in this home are a flawless example of ambient lighting paired with raw materials. Concrete walls are softened with voile curtains, mirrors, and greyscale modern art, creating a cool, calm, and contemporary aesthetic—perfect for a restful escape. The master bedroom also features an ensuite for total privacy. Two family bathrooms along with a powder room complete this home’s setup. The first is the master ensuite resplendent in Italian porcelain tiles, with a floating stone double vanity, a walk-in shower with a floating stone bench seat and the luxurious option of a steam shower, and a deep freestanding bathtub. The second bathroom is a spa-like retreat, featuring chic tiling, a modern shower and a freestanding stone basin.
This stunning home could only be found in an equally inviting locale. Malabar is an unforgettable escape, which feels like a world away from the hectic life of the city. The obvious choice for those seeking tranquillity, you’re sure to find it here. Whether you’re snorkelling, whale-watching, enjoying laid-back swims on the pristine beach or up for hiking in the Malabar Headland National Park, this is the perfect spot to rejuvenate.
