Cheval Blanc is the ideal holiday destination for those wishing to discover the charms of the Luberon and ancestral Provençal culture.
The village owes its name to the inn called thus, which served as a relay for travellers before taking the ferry to cross the river.

Calm in some places, lively in others, the village is a true haven of peace, in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park.
With a rural and traditional aspect, the streets and buildings form a charming and harmonious ensemble to walk and discover Provençal architecture.
To go further in the discovery of this unique architecture, Saint-Paul church or even the Saint-Thérèse chapel, are remarkable points of interest.
The pretty busy streets of the village centre await walkers, with their array of bars, gourmet restaurants and local shops.
Numerous car boot sales and night markets come to punctuate local life and bring cheerfulness to the village arteries.
Other natural curiosities, the Carpentras and Saint-Julien canals, originally used to activate the wheels of mills, give the place a unique atmosphere.
Not far from the village, it is a lush nature that stretches out its arms to the walker in search of tranquillity.
During your holiday in Cheval Blanc, admire the many remarkable sites, whether natural or man-made. Among the must-sees, one can mention Notre-Dame de Sénanque Abbey, the Ochres of Roussillon, the Cedar Forest, the castle of Lauris and that of Lourmarin.

Visitors to Eygalières are greeted by olive groves, vineyards, and fields of lavender that stretch as far as the eye can see, painting a landscape that is quintessentially Provençal. The village itself is a delight to explore, with its narrow cobblestone streets, ancient stone houses, and the ruins of a 12th-century castle perched atop a hill, providing panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The weekly market in Eygalières is a highlight for both locals and tourists, offering a chance to indulge in the region's fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, and handcrafted goods. It's an authentic Provençal experience, where the vibrant colors, enticing aromas, and friendly chatter create a lively atmosphere.
For those interested in cultural heritage, the 12th-century Saint-Laurent Church stands as a testament to the village's historical significance. The Chapelle Saint-Sixte, just outside the village, is another iconic landmark, often featured in photographs for its classic Romanesque architecture against the backdrop of the Alpilles.

The region's wines, particularly those from the nearby Les Baux-de-Provence appellation, are a perfect complement to any meal.
For a truly relaxing experience, visitors can stay in one of the charming bed and breakfasts or boutique hotels that dot the village. These accommodations often feature lush gardens and swimming pools, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration.
