Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.

- We are happy to have you as our guest at Pawleys Pier Village. Please note that some policies and procedures have changed from previous years and we appreciate your attention and compliance. Please note that this property and policies are designed to offer each guest and owner the best possible vacation experience. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the onsite office. We hope that all guests and owners enjoy their stay and simply that you respect the property and its amenities as you would your own home.
- Rules & Regulations
- -No Pets/Animals are allowed on premises.
- -No Motorcycles/Golf Carts are allowed to be operated inside the complex.
- -EV charging is not allowed at PPV due to the tripping hazard of cords. EV stations are available locally, check online for details and directions.
- -Grills are permitted in the driveway area behind each building, a safe distance from buildings and cars. Grilling on porches and balconies is NOT permitted.
- - Please do not sit or lean on railings around balconies, decks, or porches. These are guard rails only and will not support full body weight.
- -No climbing on fences, buildings, or sand dunes.
- -Sunscreen, please wait until you are in the courtyard before spraying sunscreen to prevent staining of the landings, stairs, etc... Do not spray sunscreen on porches.
- -Keep all walkways clear bicycles, skateboards, scooters, beach items, etc.
- -NO SMOKING in the units, pool deck, cabana or common spaces of PPV.
- -One Vehicle Per Unit in designated spaces, additional vehicles must park in overflow spaces. Vehicle parking tags must be visible at all times for PPV Staff. Vehicles without visible tags will be towed at the owner's expense.
- -Please do not hang, display, dry or place anything over the railings on balconies/porches.
- -Please do not move items from one unit to another unit. Inventory is checked and missing items are not covered by a damage waiver.
- -Should any item in the unit be damaged during your stay, please report promptly to the on-site office for replacement. Damages discovered following check-out will be the responsibility of the departing guest, and charges may apply. Such damage may not be covered by your Damage Waiver Fee.
- -Please contact the onsite office for any issues or requests while a guest on property.
- Pool Regulations
- -Hours: 9AM until 10PM
- -There is NO lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
- -Observe all posted rules.
- -No diving, horseplay or running in or around the pool.
- -Children must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age at all times.
- -Keep the noise down.
- -Do not play on or disconnect safety ropes.
- -Floats are not allowed in the pool.
- -NO GLASS
- -NO SMOKING
- -Babies/Toddlers must wear a swim diaper if they are not potty trained.
- -PPV Staff has absolute authority.
- Pier Regulations
- - A fishing license is not required to fish off the pier, but a license is required for individuals 16 or older to fish from the shore or watercraft.
- - Absolutely NO JUMPING OFF the pier.
- -Shark fishing is not allowed.
- -Cut bait in areas provided. Please do not use benches or seats for cutting.
- -NO CHUMMING.
- - Please utilize bins provided for fish carcass do not throw remains in the surf/ocean.
- -NO GLASS is permitted on the pier.
- -Bicycles, skateboards, skates, etc., are not allowed on the pier.
- -Shoes MUST be worn on the Pier.
- -Nonresident guests must be accompanied by a resident of Pawleys Pier Village.
- -During reconstruction- A maximum of 2 active fishing rods per person. Does not include anchor rods.
- -Due to limited space- unattended crab pots will not be allowed on the temporary pier.
- - Pier will be closed by onsite personnel if wind gusts are predicted or exceed 30 MPH or in case of inclement or hazardous weather conditions. Please understand and accept that we must act out of caution for all.
- -PPV staff have absolute authority.
- Departure Procedures
- -Checkout is at 11AM
- -Put all trash in trash bags, tie the top, and deposit in the trash chute located on each floor. Please note that cardboard boxes cannot be placed in the chute and should be broken down and disposed of at the trash room. Onsite personnel can assist with removal if contacted.
- -Wash all dishes or load and start the dishwasher.
- -Leave all bed linens on the beds.
- -Before you leave, please double check for any forgotten items you may have left.
- -If you borrowed items from another unit, please return them to the correct unit. Lock the unit and return keys to the onsite office.
- -Lost, missing or keys not turned in are subject to a $150 re-key assessment.
- - Leave HVAC at 72 degrees.
- -All guests must be 21 years of age or older to check-in.
- -NO HOUSE PARTIES, should a house party (chaperoned or un-chaperoned) occur, occupancy will be immediately terminated. Should a parent check into a rental and later leave students or minors, the students/minors will be evicted if we find it necessary to do so. No refund, including unused rental amounts, will be refunded.
- -Hurricane Policy:
- Refunds are only offered if the Governor of South Carolina orders a mandatory evacuation of the zone where the resort is located. If no mandatory evacuation is ordered, the deposit or payments received can be used on another booking with one calendar year, but no refund will be offered.
