Completely renovated, this riad and its douiria are a house full of charm, located in the heart of the medina. Comprising 6 spacious bedrooms with beautiful tadelakt bathrooms, luxurious decor and exceptional facilities. A corner of paradise just for you, with its own swimming pool."
The lounge, dining room and 6 suites all converge on the palm-fringed patio at the centre of the riad. It offers the tranquillity of a fountain pool where you can cool off in the hottest hours of the day. Protected from the sun, the patio is perfect for sipping mint tea or dining by lantern light. The patio is equipped with a misting system for the hot summer hours, so you can enjoy the pleasant coolness.
Suite 1: Located on the ground floor of the riad, this refined and intimate suite is decorated in an oriental style with high ceilings and a large tadelakt ottoman bath hidden behind elegant veils. It is superbly decorated with a series of paper babouches created by Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave.
Suite 2 is on the 1st floor of the riad, accessed by a private staircase. Peace and privacy are guaranteed.
Suite 3 is located on the 1st floor of the riad, and has a private lounge on a loggia.
Suite 4 is on the 1st floor of the riad, with a superb bath topped by a douiria that opens onto the sky in summer.
The douiria is traditionally the home of the master of the house, designed to receive visitors from outside the family. These private flats have access to the riad. The douiria communicates with the main riad.
The douiria is suitable for 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms, a lounge and a private terrace.
Bedroom 5 has a moucharabieh alcove overlooking the living room. It is popular with those who want to rest, dream or read on the sofa in the alcove, out of sight.
Bedroom 6 features a rare piece of 19th century coffered furniture from a Koranic school. It is also decorated with souvenirs brought back from a trip to Djenné in Mali, illustrating the links between the Maghreb and the Sahel.
The large lounge, with its hushed, colonial atmosphere, is open to the sky in summer via a douaya. In winter, it becomes a very intimate place thanks to its open fire. The private terrace offers a superb view of the Koutoubia and the Atlas mountains. A canvas and a ’menzeh’ make for pleasant moments of rest and candlelit dining.
4 suites and 2 rooms - 12 people - 6 large double beds or 12 single beds according to your needs
Breakfast is included. We don’t cook for you, we take care of everything for Eur15 per adult for lunches and Eur25 per adult for dinners.
The terraces are a mythical place for relaxation. The lounges, under the pergola or near the bougainvilleas, allow you to forget everything while listening to the muffled sounds of the medina and the call of the muezzin at prayer time. You can choose to enjoy an aperitif under the stars or a candlelit dinner with friends or just the two of you.
Unique to the medina is the superb swimming pool on the terrace. Bathed in sunlight, the pool allows you to swim in complete privacy away from prying eyes. The pool is heated from spring to autumn and misted in summer. The swimming pool is equipped with a counter-current system, so even the most athletic guests can swim long distances.

Visitors to Rahba Kedima will find themselves surrounded by a plethora of spice stalls, where heaps of cumin, saffron, and ras el hanout create a painter's palette of hues and an olfactory tapestry that is quintessentially Moroccan. The square is not only a place to buy spices but also a variety of other goods, including traditional Moroccan textiles, leather goods, and beautifully crafted pottery.
