Tucked away in a neighborhood of family-friendly cabins, it gives the feel of an "old school" Estes Park vacation. Surrounded by rock outcroppings and tall pines, just minutes from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance, you’ll love the mountain setting of this cabin. Blue Jay Bungalow will charm you from the moment you drive up.
Instantly feel a sense of relaxation as you enter the screened-in porch, which will tempt you to put down your bags and begin your vacation that very instant! You won’t have to worry about traffic as the kids roam free and explore the area. Have a seat on the porch and admire the awesome view of Longs Peak, the "14er" crown jewel of Rocky Mountain National Park.
Step into the family room, which features a warming electric fireplace, perfect for taking the chill off cool mountain nights. The cushy Queen sleeper sofa provides an extra sleeping spot for your family or friends. A flat-screen TV provides entertainment for your vacation.
The kitchen is small but efficient and well-stocked for cooking your vacation meals. A small breakfast table provides space for four.
Head outside the back door and you step onto a nice sized deck where a grill and large table is perfect for summer barbecues. There is an extra picnic table off the deck.
On the other side of the living room, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms. One bedroom has a King bed, a large closet, a dresser and a great view of Longs Peak. The second bedroom features a Queen bed, a dresser, and a hardwood floor. While this room does not have a closet, there are hooks on the wall as you enter the bedroom and a convenient luggage rack.
A full-size bathroom, with a tub/shower combo and a large mirror over the sink, sits behind the family room across from the second bedroom.
There is not a washer or dryer in the cabin, but a laundromat is nearby.

Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.

This home does not have a weekly trash pick up service. Trash will be picked up at departure. If necessary, trash will be picked up mid-stay for a nominal fee. Call the office at 970-480-8845. Trash must not overflow the bear proof trash can or be stored in the garage or home.

Long-term reservations of 14+ days require mid-stay property safety checks or mid-stay cleans, additional trash pickups. Safety checks are at no additional charge. Mid-stay cleanings include linens change, floors, bathrooms and light surface cleaning. Mid-stay services are charged to the guest, and charges can only be added after your reservation is made.
