Fisherman’s Cabin, Gunnarbua

This new and modern cabin has a fantastic location in Ballstad. Through the large floor-to-ceiling windows you have spectacular views of the sea, the harbor and the Lofoten mountains. The cabin has a high standard and is equipped with everything you need for your stay. There are 3 bedrooms with a total of 7-8 beds: Two of the bedrooms have a regular double bed, and one bedroom has a regular double bed and a 120 cm wide bed. There is one large bathroom on the ground floor, and another smaller bathroom upstairs. The cabin has a large terrace. If the weather permits it you can enjoy your meals outside, or perhaps you prefer to sit there and enjoy the northern lights or the midnight sun? Ballstad is the largest fishing village in Lofoten and is bustling with life. The town has almost a thousand residents. It offers easy access to Leknes (approximately 10 minutes), Svolvær and Henningsvær (a little over an hour), and Reine (1 hour). In Ballstad, you’ll find a grocery store and restaurants. Ballstad lies right in the middle of the Lofoten chain of islands, and it is the perfect, pittoresque starting point for hiking trips and day excursions. In Ballstad you´ll find boat rentals, fishing trips, kayak rentals, and other activities.
