There is a small corner of paradise immersed in a oaks wood, few kilometers from the beautiful village of San Casciano dei Bagni and from the beautiful Val d’Orcia and this is "Villa Berceau". What used to be a country farm in 1700 has been beautifully restored and furnished by Patrizia the owner, who, with unspeakable care and love gave a soul and a heart to this place that can only be perceived and enjoyed to the fullest through permanence. The garden of roses, lavenders and rosemary frames the infinity pool (heated on request from May to October) and small natural pergolas equipped with chairs and tables, can give you moments of relax in absolute silence, interrupted only by birdsong. If then after a day of visits in the Val d ’orcia, S iena, Florence, Pienza, Montalcino and other countless and wonderful villages and cities nearby or after a relaxing day spent in the splendid and exclusive Spas in the area, you wish to be further pampered, Francesco, the chef, will certainly do it: his menus are a triumph of homemade pasta and delicious main courses and all only and exclusively for you. If you then would like to delight in the replication of the recipes, Francesco and Patrizia will be delighted to set the table with flour and eggs and teach you how to knead and compose the type of pasta you desire, sipping a glass of wine with laughter, sympathy and lightheartedness. The 5 double bedrooms are all with ensuite bathroom (5 bathrooms with shower and 1 with bathtube) and are spread over two floors and, although all different, all furnished with high quality materials :bathrooms in Italian travertine and Italian designer taps,bedlinen and curtains in italian clothes, memory mattresses and italian high design pieces of furniture. Ground floor:dining room with direct access to the garden and fully equipped kitchen, 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroomwith shower, 1 Suite with queensize bed and 1 twin bedded room and bathroom with shower with direct access to the garden with outdoor relax area, 1 small bathroom. A large staircase in handmade terracotta bricks leads to the upper floor which opens onto the living room with fireplace and onto the covered terrace overlooking the garden and the woods, 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom (one with shower and 1 with washbasin). If for you, breakfast is an important moment of the day, Patrizia will make it unforgettable with fruits, salami, local hams,cakes and bread kneaded and baked by her at 5 am in the morning and then served still hot and fragrant.
