From the apartments it’s a 5 minutes to walk to the beach and 10 minutes into La Cala de Mijas beach town with its major offering of bars, restaurants, shopping and walks. Figaro restaurant is a must try as is Dak Burger. 50 meters from the apartment is a mini market and pizza restaurant and take away, and within 5 minutes walk there are several bars and restaurants. The main supermarket, Mercadona, is also very close by, within walking distance. Both Malaga airport and Marbella can be reached in around 20 minutes by car. La Cala de Mijas has full facilities with many bars and restaurants, a sandy beach, and a weekly market. There is a vast selection of golf courses in the area, and the centrally located Tourist Information Centre will be able to provide information on the area. The boardwalk at la Cala de Mijas is around 6 kms in length, and joins the Malaga Coastal Path with walks to Max Beach, plus Calahonda, Cabopino etc, this ultimately covers 163 kms of the coast. Transport in the area is good, with taxis / Uber / Bolt and buses readily available.
