Culberry Cottage, a hidden gem in Southwold, offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Just minutes from the beach, pier, and charming High Street, this fully refurbished 2-bedroom property provides a bright, comfortable retreat for up to four guests. Ideal for family and friends or a romantic getaway for two, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing seaside holiday or short break. Well behaved pets are welcome too.
Tucked in a quiet corner with fenced garden, you enter through the small fenced courtyard and porch into the welcoming hallway. To your left is a cloakroom leading into the light and airy kitchen / dining room, where the dining table comfortably seats six. The fully equipped kitchen features a Rangemaster, integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, toaster, and kettle. The kitchen / diner flows into the cosy sitting room with two 2-seater sofas, a log burner (with fireplace tools) and wall-mounted Smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach.

Bedroom 1: Lovely bright dual aspect room with king size bed, small built-in wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and a mirror

Family bathroom: Bath with shower over, WC, sink and towel rail
For 2026 we’ve made several improvements based on guest feedback, including refreshing the kitchen décor, adding a new freezer and extra kitchen utensils, installing additional mirrors, fitting a heated towel rail in the bathroom, and providing fireplace tools for the log burner.
Southwold is famous for its colourful beach huts, traditional pier, independent shops and excellent pubs – all just a short stroll from the cottage.
