Once an oil mill owned by a wealthy Italian family, this luxury 16th century villa with private heated swimming pool, is set at the foot of Mount Pisano in the Lucca region of Tuscany. Surrounded by olive groves with stunning views of the Vorno valley, the villa is ideal for those who want to enjoy a relaxing break while exploring the delights of Tuscany. The villa is within walking distance of the village of Vorno, where you can find a small supermarket and restaurant and, within easy reach of must-see cities including Lucca (6.5 km), Florence (50 km) and Siena (80 km).
Villa Callisto offers all the services you would expect from a luxury property including a personal chef (for preparation of breakfast and one meal 6 days a week), a concierge service (on call and on site) and a house cleaning service (6 days a week).
The 440 square metre villa is composed of a main house which develops over two levels.
On the ground floor, you will find a large living room (with sofas and armchairs) with access to the garden, a well-equipped kitchen (with an island and tiled flooring) and a dining area (with table seating 8 people). On this floor you will also find a laundry room (with washing machine and dryer) and a guest bathroom (with toilet). Up 6 steps, you will find one double bedroom (with double bed) with ensuite bathroom (with shower).
From the hallway, you will find stairs that lead to the first floor. Here you will find three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. One double bedroom (with double bed) with ensuite bathroom (with bath and shower), one double bedroom (with double bed) with ensuite bathroom (with shower) and one twin bedroom (with two single beds that can be converted into a double) with ensuite bathroom (with shower).
Outside the villa sits in a large, pretty garden where you will find a private swimming pool (13m x 4m; depth 1.8m; open from 01 May - 30 September) which can be heated on request, surrounded by a grassed area (with sun loungers and a large umbrella). Next to the villa there is an outdoor dining area (with tables and chairs) with a stone-built barbecue.
