On the second floor of an independent residence, in a quiet part of Argentière, with lovely views of the mountains, this contemporary apartment is an ideal holiday base all year round.
The apartment sleeps 4 people and is decorated in a contemporary style with some alpine touches. The living area is light and airy with wooden floors throughout. There is a sofa and flat-screen TV, plus a fold-down dining table and stylish Perspex chairs. The wooden balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the mountain views, is off the living room. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and drip coffee machine.

Location
The apartment is in a quiet area to the south of the village of Argentière, but just a 10-minute walk from the cable car for Les Grands Montets skiing area and shuttle buses. The nursery slopes of Chosalets are close by these are ideal for beginners and children. The surrounding slopes are ideal for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May.
All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. Argentière station for the Mont-Blanc-Express is just a 16-minute walk away, offering free railway services in the Mont Blanc valley. During the summer months, the choice of activities is endless; stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding.
The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Argentière’s weekly market is on Sunday mornings (in season) for the freshest local produce. The closest bakery is just a 7-minute walk away. Geneva airport is a 1 hour 20-minute drive from the apartment.
