The house is on one level only, therefore can be recommended to people with walking difficulties. The property features one double bedroom (only one bed that cannot be set as two twin beds), one twin bedroom (beds can be joined), one bathroom with tub and hand-held shower, living-dining room (CD player, Satellite TV), kitchen equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and oven.

Varenna (3km downhill) has all kinds of shops, restaurants, a railway station (Milan can be reached in 1 hour), the ferry launches to Bellagio and Menaggio (in 15 minutes), a pebbly beach.
When Villa Vannina is rented with Villa Ciliegio or Varenna Villas, guests staying here have access to the pools and the grounds of these other properties. Otherwise, guests can use a recently built swimming pool shared with guests of other properties in the same estate.
There is no lake view from Villa Vannina, from where guests can see the Castle belonging to the property. The nice walk close to the tennis court is equipped with benches providing open views of the lake.

About the area
Bellagio, often referred to as the "Pearl of Lake Como," is a picturesque town that epitomizes the allure of the Italian Lakes region. With its idyllic location at the junction of the lake's three branches, Bellagio is renowned for its stunning landscapes, elegant architecture, and serene atmosphere, making it a favorite among travelers seeking both relaxation and beauty.
The town's cobbled streets and stairways are lined with colorful buildings, chic boutiques, and quaint cafes, inviting leisurely strolls and opportunities to soak in the local culture. The lakeside promenade offers breathtaking views of the water and surrounding mountains, and is the perfect spot for an evening passeggiata.
One of Bellagio's most famous attractions is the Villa Melzi, a neoclassical masterpiece set within exquisite gardens that bloom with azaleas and rhododendrons in the spring. The villa's museum and botanical gardens are open to the public, providing a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the Lombard aristocracy.
Another must-visit is the grand Villa Serbelloni, which sits atop the hill overlooking the town. Now owned by the Rockefeller Foundation, the villa's park is open for guided tours, offering visitors the chance to explore its lush gardens and enjoy panoramic views of Lake Como.
For those interested in local craftsmanship, Bellagio is known for its fine silk products and artisan shops where you can find handcrafted leather goods and intricate woodwork. The town's small but charming historical center, with its Romanesque church and stone buildings, tells the story of Bellagio's ancient roots.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to do in and around Bellagio. The lake itself is a playground for water sports, from sailing and windsurfing to kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. The surrounding hills offer hiking and cycling paths with scenic vistas at every turn.
Gastronomy is another highlight of Bellagio, with restaurants serving delicious Lombard cuisine, fresh lake fish, and regional wines. Dining al fresco by the lake as the sun sets is an experience not to be missed.
In essence, Bellagio is a destination that offers a harmonious blend of natural beauty, historical richness, and Italian charm. It's a place where one can indulge in the leisurely pace of lake life, immerse in the elegance of bygone eras, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
