CASA FORTUNA - SORRENTO CENTRE
Casa Fortuna is located an excellent position and offering stunning views across the bay of Sorrento, a unique view that few private houses can offer in this area. Perched atop cliffs, it is within walking distance to the bustling restaurants and cafes of Sorrento; within minutes you can walk to the bus stop, the train station that takes you into Pompeii, Naples and Herculaneum for day visits.
The house was built on the site of an old Roman one, dating back 2.000 years; the remains have been left visible after renovation an can be seen on the ground floor on the walls. A car is not needed to stay at Casa Fortuna, but if necessary, you’ll be able to park in a nearby private car park (extra fee applies; please enquire).
We reach the house directly from the street level, with no steps in between. The house develops over two levels.
On the upper level, we find the modern living room, stylishly furnished with sofas and chairs, large flat screen TV with satellite channels, from where you can enjoy the beautiful views. On this floor, we have a bathroom with twin sink and shower cubicle. The sleeping area consists of one double bedroom with four posted bed, futon, satellite TV, small fridge, air con, walk-in wardrobe and access to a terrace with sea views; one double bedroom with TV, security safe, air con, walk-in wardrobe and its own balcony with sea views; one bedroom with double bed, security safe, walk-in wardrobe and air con; one bathroom with shower cabin and hairdryer.
Going down a level (22 steps), from the living room, we access the lower floor where we find the large dining room with table, chairs, large TV, air con, and fireplace. The dining room has a small arched romantic balcony that looks out into the garden. The kitchen is fitted with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, espresso coffee machine, American coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and other small appliances. From the kitchen, we can access the garden via French windows. The sleeping area on this level consists of: one double bedroom with king size bed, single bed, TV, air con, and access to the garden via French windows. On this level, we have two separate bathrooms with shower.

Outside, the property offers a 300 square metres private garden, furnished with sun lounges, chairs, umbrellas, outdoor shower, barbecue area and a shaded dining area with table for 12. Here, we also have a heated Jacuzzi for 6 people (open from April 1st to October 31).
