With its proximity to Des Moines, it also boasts all of the benefits and uniqueness of the Capitol City. The Lake Halice Neighborhood is a lovely, established development located in Urbandale, Iowa. Well kept homes, stately trees and a leisurely lifestyle mark the area. The 15 acre Lake nestled within this community is the hallmark of the neighborhood, and backs immediately to the home. The surrounding neighborhood is very walkable. Additionally, it is located very near the Inner Urban Bike Trail and can connect easily to all of the several hundred miles of Central Iowa bike trails. One of Urbandale’s finest city parks, Walker-Johnson Park is only a 5 minute walk away and includes activities such as tennis, pickleball, softball/baseball, a skatepark, playgrounds, a fishing pond, a community center, and access to walking and bike trails.
