This lovingly restored stone cottage is quietly nestled in the pretty village of Pobegi providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The ideal choice for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat with family and friends, the property comfortably sleeps three guests.
Guests can enjoy alfresco meals on the terrace or relax in the open-plan living space that is furnished with a sofa bed, a dining table and a country-style kitchen equipped with; an induction hob, an oven, a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge freezer.

The property is located in the village of Pobegi in southwestern Slovenia, a 5-minute drive from the small town of Dekani near the historic port of Koper (an 11-minute drive). The surrounding area is known for its limestone rock formations, caves, and underground rivers. Visitors can explore the Škocjan Caves (a 25-minute drive), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Postojna Cave (a 40-minute drive), famous for its stalactites and stalagmites or the nearby Strunjan Nature Reserve (a 15-minute drive), a popular destination for coastal walks. In Koper visitors can relax on the town’s beaches, take scenic walks along the waterfront promenade, or explore the medieval architecture, narrow cobblestone streets and Renaissance palaces.
The local area is also a paradise for wine enthusiasts and there are two vineyards within a 15-minute walk of the accommodation where guests can enjoy the local wine whilst learning about the centuries-old winemaking traditions that define the area. The closest restaurant a 3-minute walk away and there is a supermarket less than a 10-minute walk from the property.
