Property Manager is proud to present Gorse Cottage, a newly renovated 3-bedroom bungalow with spectacular views over the sea and headlands.
Gorse Cottage is in the coastal village of Penally, one mile southwest of Tenby. The village is known for its Celtic Cross, and the Gothic style country house called Penally Abbey. It also has two traditional pubs, two award-winning restaurants, two golf courses and a bakery within a short distance, the Cross Inn is 75 metres up the road, the nearest restaurant is 100 metres.
The cottage boosts magnificent views that overlook Tenby, Caldey Island, Giltar Point, and Tenby Golf Course, which runs alongside Tenby’s South Beach. The public footpaths head through the golf links to the beach (5 minutes’ walk away) and on to Tenby, which can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes, or 3 minutes on the train or 10 minutes on the bus.
Penally is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, it runs in both directions, towards Tenby then on to Saundersfoot or in the other direction to Lydstep and Manorbier.
Penally Train Station is only a 150 metres away, allowing you arrive by train and explore the area on foot, or by bike, allowing you to be car free during your holiday.
Tenby has all you could want and need for a seaside holiday from various boat trips to a vast array of unique shops and delicious dining opportunities. Pembrokeshire also has some of the best family attractions, which are just a short drive.
Gorse Cottage is all on one level, with two steps down into the conservatory and another out on to the garden. Enter the property through the front door into a small entrance way with a door leading into the dining room.
Dining area: A large wooden table with comfortable seating for 6 people is positioned between the kitchen and the living area.
Living area: The living space has been thoughtfully arranged with plush, comfy sofas and chair, which are situated around the edge of the room, to ensure you have the best view out of the window. In the corner is a Smart TV for those that wish to curl up for an evening watching movies with loved ones.
Kitchen: A modern kitchen fitted for all your self-catering needs. The appliances include a microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge / freezer. The kitchen has a small table and chairs so you can still be sociable with friends and family whilst preparing drinks and meals.
Bedroom 1: A spacious room with a double bed, wooden wardrobe, bedside table and chest of drawers, with a handy vanity unit and basin in the corner, the window is rear facing with views out over the golf course and sea.
Bedroom 2: An airy room with a double bed, wooden wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables, with views out of the bay window towards the village.
Bedroom 3: A bright room with twin beds, wooden wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table, with rear facing window with views over the coast.
Family Bathroom: Modern bathroom with toilet, washbasin and mirror, bath with shower over and a heated towel rail.
Conservatory: There is a small conservatory just off the kitchen, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.
One dog is accepted but is not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms.
There is one allocated parking space for the cottage, additionally parking can be found a little further down the road or at Penally train station.
A cot and highchair are provided.
Check in is from 4pm on day of arrival.
There is a refundable £200 damage and good-housekeeping deposit when staying at this property.
