If you are looking to be in the heart of the beautiful coastal township of Sorrento, then you have found the perfect apartment. Located at the top end of Corso Italia, the famous pedestrian shopping street that runs through Sorrento, is Joe’s Flat 1 , a newly renovated 2-bedroom apartment with modern bathroom and open plan living and dining.
Boasting all the necessary comforts for an enjoyable holiday, Joe’s Flat 1 is filled with natural light and enjoys fast speed Wifi, air-conditioning/heating and satellite TV.
Joe’s Flat 1 is located on the ground/first level of a well maintained and secured residential building with elevator access.
The entrance to the apartment opens onto a combined living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped and will tempt you into experimenting with the organic food available at the nearby local shops. It includes a four burner gas hob, oven, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. The dining table comfortably seats 4 people, while a large3-seater lounge can be enjoyed after a long day out sightseeing.
The double and twin bedrooms are spacious with new furnishings and expansive wardrobe space. The main bathroom is newly tiled and fitted with quality fixtures including a walk-in shower, large wash basin, modern design bidet and toilet and washing machine.
The highlight of Joe’s Flat 1 is not only its modern design, but its central location. Positioned at the top end of the pedestrian-only shopping strip of Corso Italia, you have a range ofsupermarkets, delicatessens, restaurants, bars, and gelaterias a mere stones throw away. The laneway to the historical centre is located one street behind the apartment while the central square of Piazza Tasso and the beautiful Marina Grande, renowned for its seafront restaurants, areboth only eight minutes on foot in their respective directions.
To reach the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, you can take a train from Sorrento’s main station, less than 15 minutes on foot, or organise an authorised guided tour through the Gocce Concierge Desk. Capri Island is a short boat trip away, while Positano, Ravello and the Amalfi coast are all great day trips from Sorrento.
A car is not required for your stay at Joe’s Flat 1, however if you do choose to come by car, there is a secure public carpark located only 50 metres from the apartment (charges apply). A public bus stop is conveniently located on the main cross street up from the apartment with regular bus services to Positano and the Amalfi Coast, Massa Lubrense, Sant’Agata and Marina del Cantone beach.
