Newly & Completely Renovated 980 square foot - 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom single family 1872 historic cottage close to everything in downtown Charleston. The primary bedroom contains a king bed, the second bedroom contains a queen bed, and the third bedroom contains a king bed. All three bedrooms have their own en suite bathrooms and all bedrooms are located on the first floor of the home! Private back patio with fire pit. INCLUDED WITH EACH STAY: Complimentary coffee, cream, sugar, to-go cups Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels) Shampoo/conditioner/soap Dish/laundry detergents Hair dryer/iron/ironing board Towels/bed linens Extra blankets and pillows Basic cooking/kitchenware/bakeware After these initial supplies run out, we do not offer additional supplies. There are several convenience stores and grocery stores in the area for your convenience. Per the official City of Charleston Short Term Rental ordinance, the property must NOT be occupied by "more than four (4) unrelated people". This does NOT apply to families. Sofa bed available upon request. It is not included in the official bed count and is not advertised as a sleeping area. If you plan to use it during your stay, please let us know in advance so we can provide the necessary linens Compass Cottage is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2025-06643 and Business License BL026876. Guests have access to the front door through the keypad. The door code is given prior to arrival. The home contains 3 bedrooms on the first floor, each with its own full bathroom. Parking information The private driveway will fit one small to mid size car. Please make sure your car does not cross the driveway or you will be ticketed by the city. The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just 3 blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website. 🚫 Pets are NOT Allowed: As much as we love furry companions, pets are not allowed at this property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If a pet and/or pet evidence is found at the home we reserve the right to charge a $150/pet fee. 🚫 This is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors. 🧳 Luggage Drop-Off: We are pleased to offer our guests convenient luggage storage through our partnership with Charleston Bag Valet, a trusted local provider. This service allows you to securely drop off your luggage before check-in or after check-out, so you can explore and enjoy your time in Charleston without the inconvenience of carrying your bags. Please note that additional fees apply for this service. 🏙️ Noise Notice: Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that: ⭐️ A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. ⭐️ Guests must be respectful of neighbors during these hours. ⭐️ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location. ⭐️ By booking, you acknowledge and accept this city setting and the potential for ambient noise. 🧑‍🔧 To help us ensure a great stay, guests must allow us the chance to address any issues during their visit.
