Cowboy Heaven 13 Derringer is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Cowboy Heaven Cabin nestled on the slopes of Lone Mountain in Moonlight Basin. This newly renovated cabin boasts a private deck and hot tub, panoramic Big Sky views and incredible ski-in/ski-out access via the Powder River ski run to Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin.
The open plan living area is welcoming with high vaulted ceilings, rustic log beams, warm wood flooring, a gas fireplace to cozy around after skiing or exploring Big Sky and a flat screen TV for entertainment. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, a vintage-style gas range and oven and a dining table to share family style meals or a quick midday snack between ski runs. Step outside to a private deck boasting some of the best views in Big Sky there you will find the hot tub. Whether you’re sipping champagne and planning your next day of Big Sky adventures as the sunsets from your private hot tub, or simply soaking up the panoramic alpine views, this perfect perch is an unbeatable and exceptionally scenic gathering place.
This cozy Cowboy Heaven cabin comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests in 2 spacious bedrooms. The master suite features a custom queen bed and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed and twin bed, a single vanity and a private bathroom with a shower. All bedrooms are equipped with high-quality furnishings and linens for a night of comfort.

SKI ACCESS
Cowboy Heaven Cabins boast TRUE ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky Resort! The BEST on the mountain and suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts at Moonlight typically open early to mid December. There is no ski access until the lifts open or after lifts close.
Ski Out:
Step off the back deck onto the groomed Gambler access run. Veer left and immediately right to ski through the tunnel below. This connects with the Powder River ski run, which will take you to the Ironhorse Chair Lift. (Green access)
Ski In:
From the top of Ironhorse or Six Shooter lifts, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River. Stay straight on Powder River continuing through the ski tunnel. Take your first right and travel over the skier bridge. This is the Gambler Way access. Your home will be the 5th on the right.
