If you’re a person who privileges the history of the places you visit, we’re sure you will love the location of this house, near the Dom Luís bridge.
The house recently underwent a series of interventions, with the primary objective of enhancing overall comfort. As a result, there are now even more compelling reasons to appreciate this exceptional property.
ACCESS TO THE HOUSE IS VIA STAIR ONLY. Please note that you won’t be able to access the entrance door by car. The view is worth the effort!
ACCESS TO THE HOUSE IS VIA STAIR ONLY (approximately 150 steps). Please note that you will not be able to access the entrance door by car.
The house sits on a hillside with open views of the Douro River and Vila Nova de Gaia, and is divided into three floors, joined by a spiral staircase.
The entrance is on the ground floor, where there is an entrance hall and two bedrooms, each with air conditioning, an integrated bathroom and closed wardrobes. On the lower floor there is a living room with dining area (with air conditioning), equipped kitchen (oven, extractor fan, microwave, gas stove), guest bathroom, a storage room and a private outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the iconic landscape that characterizes this location. On the top floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed and hangers for your clothes (no air conditioning). The house offers all the basic amenities to have a good stay in the historic center of Porto.
Free Wi-Fi is available during your stay, as are bath towels and bed linen.
The house does not have reception, but the Property Manager team is available 24/7 via cell phone and email.
** READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING AND/OR CHECKING IN **
Access to the house is only via stairs but the view is worth the effort, believe me! (150 Steps)
Keep in mind that the fact that the house is located on a slope and is close to the river, it is natural that you will feel the river breeze more intensely at low tide, as well as occasionally some humidity. Anyway, don’t worry as there are air conditioning machines at home.
Nearby there is an outdoor car park (Duque de Loulé) and some paid spaces in the nearby streets.
Please note that your reservation comes with a welcome kit that includes a small amount of shower gel, toilet paper, trash bags, coffee capsules, olive oil, salt (...). The idea of renting a complete accommodation means being autonomous, as if you were at home, so if the aforementioned items are sold out and you want more, it is your responsibility to buy for yourself. Thank you for your understanding.
There is no dishwasher or clothes washing machine.
