Find unmatched peace, tranquility and breathtaking natural beauty at this fully renovated modern riverside retreat, nestled beside the stunning rapids of Fightingtown Creek. Welcome to Driftwood Rapids Villa. Experience the soothing sound of rushing water that wraps around the 6300 square foot villa on a property so full of amenities that you never have to leave...and you probably won’t want to. Trout fishermen and women can fish year round for Brown and Rainbow Trout in the very private waterway or use the property as a jump off point for trout fishing surrounding rivers.
Fifteen minutes in any direction and you’ll be whitewater rafting through the gorgeous Cherokee National Park, tubing down a river, taking a scenic train ride, or exploring the interesting shops and restaurants of nearby McCaysville, Blue Ridge, and more.
Each of the home’s six bedrooms are riverside and have personal deck access, along with black out curtains for a magical sleep. Five bedrooms including the luxurious master have king beds and large 4K TVs with the sixth bedroom sporting four bunks for the little ones. The spacious master boasts a beautiful vaulted wood ceiling, 65” flat screen with sound bar, remote controlled black out curtains, and a spacious spa-like master bath with soaker tub and double shower heads.
Beautifully designed gathering areas are abundant, from the living room with its double sided gas fireplace, to the dining room on the water with custom made dining table that seats up to 14 people. The covered deck is a sure crowd pleaser with table seating for at least 8 and a lounge area, while the upper deck lounge chairs offer a great place to catch some rays just outside your room. The generous media room is always a favorite with its 75" 4K TV with 6 hi-def speaker surround system, mini bar with fridge, game table, and floor to ceiling library.
Cook for the whole crew in the bright and well equipped gourmet kitchen, supplied with everything needed to make your best dish, including a collection of specialty small appliances and kitchen wares. A large gas grill and "grill-monitoring hammock" are positioned just steps from the kitchen for the grill expert of the group.
When not enjoying the river, take a dip in the private pool with a sun shelf or relax in the six-person hot tub just steps from the rapids. The pool is open year-round and can be heated to 85 degrees for an additional $150 per day (2-night minimum). To ensure it’s ready for your stay, please contact our reservations team at least 24 hours before arrival. Or, enjoy a session in the six-person barrel sauna. When you’re done, gather for s’mores around the fire pit or unwind with a good book from our extensive library.
Small and "grown children" alike can test their skills at shuffleboard, BowlO-Rama, pinball, or Golden Tee PGA Tour 2025 before hitting the upper deck for a game of cornhole. Make lasting memories with a collection of over 60 new board games and puzzles, or "bet on the river" with our professional poker chip set. While simple, the record player with nearly 50 all-time albums gathers people in a magical way and is always a great conversation starter.
Let your troubles drift away. While amenities are around every corner, what you’ll most likely remember from your stay is the way you feel when you’re here. This one of a kind North Georgia gem will relax you to your core.
