Blue Dome is perfect for 4 guests who want to enjoy the famous view in privacy and style, and yet be within walking distance of all the main restaurants and shops.  Outdoors As you come down your private steps from Blue Dome’s gate off the cliff path, you are greeted with your private stone walled terrace, with loungers and the stone-built swimming pool with jacuzzi jets. Imagine relaxing with a glass of local wine, with a blue-domed church and the volcano behind it as your outdoor backdrop.  There are loungers and a table for alfresco eating and watching the sunset, and on the upper level there is another private veranda for quiet Santorini moments. There is also a gate by the swimming pool to enter the villa by the lower cliff path as well.  Interior The indoor and outdoor space are a harmonious extension of each other for authentic Greek island summer living.  The vaulted arches of the cave house create a bright open-plan space. There is a comfortable and cool sitting area with a fully equipped kitchen and dining table for 6. The cave house extends back to the open plan main bedroom with a king size bed and luxe en-suite double shower bathroom carved in stone, and traditional open arches onto the living space. On the upper level of the villa, at the top of stairs, is the door to a double bedroom suite with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. Good to know Imerovigli is the highest village on the caldera cliffside and the views of the volcano are truly impressive. You can walk along the cliff path into Fira the main town or even up to Oia in the north, along the hiking path. And only 800 meters from the villa is the famous Skaros Rock, if you feel adventurous you can take the 200 stairs down to the Theoskepasti church, amazing views from down there of the volcano.  License: GR/45942
