Home details
The entrance to the residence opens under an elegant barrel vault highlighted by the presence of a neighborhood lining that increases its light and spaciousness. The neighborhood with its evocative luminescence resurfrom the dining area of the kitchen that, intentionally conceived as an open space, almost becomes the vital hub of the entire house. Here an island of white marble is a magnetic presence and like an altar with rounded corners it stands in a sacred totem to celebrate intimate lunches or convivial dinners that guests can enjoy preparing, without resorting to the chef’s contribution that the Management makes available to them. At the bottom of the space, a wall equipped with walnut and steel reflects the winding shapes of the central island. From the kitchen, through two large portals you can access the living room, an area dedicated to relaxation and characterized by important bookstores at full height, made of canaletto walnut and covered in rattan effect wallpaper. They contrast with the central fifth candy that’s home to a large marble-framed fireplace. In the center of the living room, Edra’s monumental Pak couch catches the attention and offers the best screening stand on the Hometheater that stands on the opposite wall. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms. Here too, the use of natural materials prevails, with tailored furnishings in the colors of the earth and touches of pure luxury guaranteed by the presence of Loro Piana fabrics. One of the bedrooms has a dressing area and en-suite bathroom, so as to ensure the privacy of a small independent studio. The travertine in the precious and refined walnut color characterizes the cladding in the bathrooms. One of them is equipped as a real spa, preceded by an anti-bathroom furnished with a clay-colored toilet and finished by a characteristic barrel vault that the districts in a neighborhood transforms into a mysterious cave of thermal pleasures. A series of large-format photographs decorate the walls throughout the house. The images reproduce unusual and unexpected details of Roman palaces: in them abstract but deeply material forms emerge under the artist’s gaze, able to exalt the beauty of a fragment, but to bring it back to the eternal charm of Rome.
