The Rowe House, located on Crocker Ranch and named for former owner Frank Crocker, lies in the valley below Mount Olympus and Park Hill. Crocker Ranch was Crocker’s summer home until 1932. There are a number of historical associations connected to the ranch. In 1875 Alexander MacGregor’s original toll road entered the Estes Valley through the Ranch. Its traces are still visible on the ranch property. The Crocker Ranch remains today in private hands with a number of its historical buildings intact and well preserved, including the Rowe House.Step into Rowe House and start your ranch vacation. The home is a historical building, with beautiful updates throughout. Log beams and wood floors, and art work that bring a sense of history to the home. On the main floor there is a large well appointed kitchen with a large kitchen island for working space. There is a laundry area next to the kitchen. The dining area has a large dining table for 10. The dining area enters into the living area. One part of the living area is a sitting space where you can enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy ranch views. This area is open to the fireplace living area that features the original large stone wood burning fireplace, and a flat screen TV. There are several doors from the main area leading to the wrap around deck, and the patio area where you will find a BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. Take a glass of wine and sit on the deck which overlooks many acres of open ranch land. There are three bedrooms in the home. The first bedroom is on the main floor and has 3 sets of twin bunk beds, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The second and third bedrooms are on the upper level. One bedroom has a King bed, with a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is also a King bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, with a tub/shower combo. The Crocker Ranch is a working ranch - there are animals on-site. Animals are for viewing only and not to be approached. You can walk around the ranch to enjoy the fresh mountain air and views. A boundary walking map is provided in the home. All reservations require a signed liability release form.Book your vacation at Crocker Ranch and get started on the perfect retreat experience.
Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.
Long-term reservations of 14+ days require mid-stay property safety checks or mid-stay cleans, additional trash pickups. Safety checks are at no additional charge. Mid-stay cleanings include linens change, floors, bathrooms and light surface cleaning. Mid-stay services are charged to the guest, and charges can only be added after your reservation is made.
