We warmly welcome pets at the property. However, we ask that you clean up after them and keep them on a leash, as the property is not fenced. Please be mindful that wildlife is a natural part of our surroundings, and encounters with animals—including rattlesnakes—are possible.
Yosemite and its surroundings are teeming with wildlife. During your stay, you might spot deer, turkeys, squirrels, hawks, and rabbits. Though rarer, you could also encounter coyotes, bears, mountain lions, raccoons, opossums, skunks, rattlesnakes, tarantulas, and scorpions. Be cautious of local plants like poison oak and poison ivy, which are prevalent in the area.
For added security, exterior cameras are positioned to monitor the parking area.
Given our mountain setting, weather conditions can be unpredictable. We strongly recommend that guests traveling during winter months equip their vehicles with 4WD and winter tires or carry snow chains for added safety.
Indoor fireplaces are currently undergoing an upgrade and will not be operational in the spring and summer of 2025.
Lastly, to protect our fragile ecosystem and reduce wildfire risk, outdoor fires other then using provided gas fireplace are strictly prohibited from May through October.
