The Creekside area of Whistler is the original base for the mountain. It now serves as one of several bases for Whistler-Blackcomb and has easy Gondola access to all ski/biking areas. Creekside is the perfect location for a family getaway as it is quieter than Whistler Village.
Enjoy all the conveniences of being surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, liquor stores, coffee shops and much more. Walk to Nita Lake Lodge for lunch and relax and indulge in their amazing full-service spa. Or take the Valley Trail from Creekside to "The Lakes" and enjoy the scenery and alpine views of Nita Lake and Alpha Lake Park. Go exploring and rent kayaks or paddle boards from Wayside Park in the summer!
There will be one parking pass left on the fridge for you that will need to be placed on your dash during your stay. If you require a second parking pass please let us know and we will be able to provide one for you. If the parking passes are not returned at the end of your stay they are $100 each to replace.
There is additional parking across Lake placid rd. Instead of taking your first right on Sarajevo go about 50 meters and the parkade will be on your left. There are 4 levels of free skier day parking and 20 spots above if you need to leave your vehicle overnight.
The local transit is a great way to get around. The buses come every 15 mins at the corner of Lake Placid and Sarajevo and take you to the main village in 10-15 mins. It costs $2.50 each way. There are also 2 local taxi companies that cost about $15 to the village.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
This well-equipped condo is at the top of three flights of stairs (75 steps total).
