Colle Santa Cristina is a beautiful villa set in a spectacular hilltop
position at 580 metres above sea level in Tuscany’s Garfagnana, one of
the region’s most unspoiled areas. Surrounded by nature, it overlooks
the Serchio Valley and offers sweeping panoramic views of both the
Apuan Alps and the Apennines in the distance. With plenty of space for
up to 8 guests, it’s the perfect retreat for families and friends
seeking peace, comfort, and the beauty of the Tuscan landscape.
The villa enjoys a quiet and idyllic location, just a ten-minute drive
from the town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, which offers restaurants,
cafés and a supermarket. The nearby organic winery Podere Concori, only
six kilometres away, invites guests for wine tastings. The historic spa
town of Bagni di Lucca, famous for its thermal springs, can be reached
in about 30 minutes. This region also offers a wealth of sights and
activities, including the stunning Ponte della Maddalena, charming
mountain villages and outdoor experiences such as hiking, rafting and
canoeing on the Serchio River. Lucca with its intact city walls is
about 45 minutes away, and Pisa and the coast can be reached in around
an hour.
The single-storey villa is painted a soft peach colour and features a
covered terrace with a dining table. The large, well-maintained garden
is planted with colourful flowers. The fully fenced pool provides extra
peace of mind for families with young children. A firepit, pizza oven
and barbecue invite guests to spend time outdoors.
Inside, the villa is decorated in muted tones and furnished with
