The wineries Castello di Fonterutoli and Tregole can both be reached on foot. Castellina in Chianti is only four kilometres away and offers restaurants, cafés, a supermarket, and the popular Gelateria di Castellina, known for its delicious ice cream. Siena is less than half an hour away by car. San Gimignano, Florence, and Arezzo also make great destinations for day trips. The two-storey stone house with brown wooden shutters and a full-length balcony on the upper floor has the character of an alpine retreat but fits naturally into the Tuscan setting. The large terrace at the front opens out onto the garden and pool area, perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
