Located in the hills above Viareggio and Lucca, Antica Poesia is a
particularly savvy choice if you’re planning to attend the annual
Puccini Festival at the open-air theatre in Torre del Lago or outings
to the Renaissance-era walled city and the coast. Activities ranging
from wine and olive oil-tasting to horse riding and golf are also
available nearby. The property was formerly an olive press and has been
transformed into a characterful two-storey Tuscan villa that will
provide a very comfortable base for a family of four or two couples.
Set among a small cluster of houses, the friendly owner lives in the
adjoining villa and is happy to help where required.

Payment & Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
