Tintenbar Riverfront Farm Stay 1 by Property Manager sits in the quiet suburbs of Seaham–Port Stephens, just 44 minutes from Newcastle and an hour from the Hunter Region, NSW. This tiny house, set on lush green acres beside a gentle riverbank, is one of the most tranquil holiday homes you’ll find.
Spend your evenings by the fire or grilling a BBQ under the stars, and say hello to the friendly farm animals that call this place home. Maitland Park, Clarence Town, and the Hunter Valley Wildlife Park are all just a short drive away.
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home with a lofted queen-sized bed and a convertible single-bed couch on the ground floor. Complete with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you’re booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home onsite, available with 24 hours’ notice.
Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings, but not the caretaker’s cabin, garages, or storage areas. Please get the host’s approval before using the river, boat ramp, or any owner’s items.
Preorders are available with 24 hrs notice:
- $10 per water bottle
- Stand up paddle board available for $15/day
- Firewood is available for $15 per tub, including 3 fire lighters per tub and kindling
- Cold packed breakfast, including bacon, eggs, bread, and condiments, prepared and ready to cook, is available for $25 per pack per couple
By car:
- 13 mins drive Clarence Town
- 20 mins drive from Maitland
- 2 hrs drive from Sydney head north on the M1 freeway
- 1 hr drive from Hunter Region, also known as Wine Region in NSW
- 44 mins drive from Newcastle Airport exit left through Medowie to Pacific highway, Turn left towards Raymond terrace
By public transport:
No public transport or taxi services, however it would be possible to access directly from the airport.
- Gas BBQ is not available
- Please do not cut your own firewood
- No uninvited guests or visitors allowed
- Mobile phone reception has good signals
- Do not to leave the rubbish on the property
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- Please follow all fire restrictions set during the warm/spring/dry season
- We would like to advise guests that later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- All gates must be kept closed at all times to prevent animals from escaping or causing damage
- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
