A chic guest bathroom (loo and wash-hand basin only) *Please note the absence of a lift; please be aware that these stairs may prove difficult for the elderly, children, or those with mobility issues OUR COMMENT A fabulous find on a charming campo in an authentic locale! – bright, cheerful and spacious – and pivotal to all the sights of the San Polo, Santa Croce and Dorsoduro sestieres, with easy access to the ‘traghetto’ at San Tomà, which ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to Garzoni / San Samuele in the district of San Marco. Within a gentle stroll of a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars including (but not only!) Frary’s (for candlelit Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine), Il Mercante (for cocktails), Birreria La Corte and Muro Frari (with menus to suit most tastes), the long-standing Da Ignazio with its courtyard garden (for fish and seafood), for fine dining... Wisteria (awarded one Michelin star), Da Fiore and Estro... and last, but not least, not forgetting Pizza 2000 near Campo Sant’ Agostin for excellent made-to-order takeaway pizza! Also within a reasonably short walk of Piazzale Roma (Venice’s coach and car / taxi disembarkation point) and Venice’s Santa Lucia Station on the Grand Canal (only if feeling energetic and travelling light!) For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o’clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.
