This nice country house is located in Järbo in Högsäter, Dalsland. There is room for 11 guests so it is a perfect house for several families celebrating holidays together. This is a perfect location for a house as the house is centrally located in Dalsland and you can reach all municipalities within a maximum of one hour; Färgelanda, Bengtsfors, Dals-Ed, Mellerud and Åmål. The house was built in 1870 and has a wonderful country style. You are welcomed into the house in a glazed entrance to then enter a hall, the first room on the right is a room with two single beds, you continue into a large lovely living room where there is also a tiled stove to fire in too high a comfort factor, the next room on the ground floor is a small living room and toilet and shower are adjacent, then you enter the large lovely country kitchen. A steep staircase leads you upstairs where the first room on the left has a single bed, in the next room there is a double bed and a single bed, if you continue to follow the hall there is another large bedroom with double bed and a single bed and inside this bedroom a sleeping alcove with a single bed, outside the master bedroom there is another sleeping alcove with a single bed, upstairs there is also a toilet. At the end of the house there is a large lovely terrace where there is room for cozy barbecues with a view of the house’s nice pond. Here is a rich bird life and you have notes 95 different species in the environment, why not bring binoculars. Otherwise you can just sit and enjoy in peace and quiet. In the large garden there is room for a lot of play and mischief, here there is also a swing set for the little ones. There are many nice little lakes to swim in when you are in Dalsland, the nearest swimming Råvattnet is about 900 meters from the house. It is a mountain lake that is 35 meters deepest. There is a small beach, jetty with ladder- Fishing allowed, there is no need for a fishing license in this lake for house guests! At a few miles distance you will find Kroppefjälls nature reserve, where there are several nice hiking trails and you come to a scenic environment. Fishing, swimming, canoeing, cycling, going to flea markets are some tips on what you can do on your holiday. Dalsland is flooded with nature and cultural heritage in all its forms, among other things, it is definitely worth visiting the Aqueduct in Håverud in Dals-Rostock, which is located in the middle of Dalsland in Mellerud municipality. There is an old spa with interesting history. you can visit an artist’s studio with a shop and a rural museum. When you are in these areas, it is almost a must for those who like long fine white sandy beaches to visit Vita Sandar. For the adventurous, we recommend Dalsland’s Activities, which is one of Europe’s largest facilities when it comes to adventures out in the woods and on the ground, there is also both a restaurant and a café that offers local ingredients. In Dals-Ed you will find Dalslands Moose Park which is a moose safari that takes you close to the king of the forest! In forest and land there are plenty of berries and mushrooms. You do not have to be idle when you visit Dalsland, there is a large selection of experiences to choose from, but you can also just enjoy the beautiful nature in peace and quiet
