Otterburn is a vibrant, picturesque community. As the site of the Battle of Otterburn, this village has a violent history which is almost undetectable against the peaceful landscape of the Redesdale Valley. You can visit the battlefield site on the outskirts of Otterburn where The Percy Cross marks the site of the battle. This small village is home to the Otterburn Mill. The Mill contains a museum outlining the history of weaving and wool-milling in the area. The Otterburn Rug has even been endorsed by the Royal Family, with Queen Elizabeth II owning one when she was a baby. Otterburn has a local shop for picking up those essential items, along with a couple of pubs. If you enjoy walking Otterburn is perfectly situated to get your walking boots on and head out on a walk. When visiting Otterburn a trip to Kielder Water & Forest Park is a must. Kielder is a haven for wildlife watching, offers stunning dark skies, award-winning art & architecture and fun for all the family. There are also several cycling routes nearby if you prefer pedal power. The Otterburn Ranges, where birds and animals including squirrels thrive, is a remote area covering nearly a quarter of Northumberland National Park, and offering spectacular, unspoilt landscapes.

Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
