We are situated 40 minutes drive from the barge to Fraser Island (K'gari) world heritage listed and an hour's drive away from Bundaberg. The historical town of Maryborough, Burrum Heads, Hervey Bay, and Toogoom are all within a 20-30 minute drive of the property. Our local recommendations: - Beelbi Creek offers great fishing. - Toogoom Mountain Bike is a multi-level bike trail with a skills park, Joey trail, and shelter shed. - A Taste Of Burrum is a cafe that serves fresh homemade tarts and freshly cooked seafood meals. - Burrum River is one of the most beautiful rivers in Queensland, ideal for fishing, boating, and canoeing. - Goody's On The Beach is a restaurant that serves the best selection of meals, scenic views, and live music. - Torquay Beach features Neilson's Park, providing picnic areas with tables, BBQs, toilets, and grassed spots for relaxation. - Dundowran Beach offers vast sandy expanses, perfect for a day out, but swimming is best timed around high tide due to the flat bay. - Hervey Bay is a small rural location with beautiful botanical gardens, beaches, and whale watching. Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
