It is a serene farm stay where you can experience the slow-paced country lifestyle by watching farmers do their daily chores such as managing their cattle and sheep, cutting hay, and more. You can also enjoy the great outdoors by taking lovely walks around our land, up the road, or through the crops across the road from us. Additionally, there are walking and cycling trails located nearby. Our local recommendations: - Learmonth is 20 kilometers away from a beautiful lake access and great eateries. - Lake Burrumbeet is only 5 kilometers away and is a great spot to sit and enjoy a picnic. - Wendouree village is a shopping precinct located 8 kilometers away from our front gate. - Lucas Plaza is only 3 kilometers away, where you can find groceries, medical, pharmacy, and eateries. - Sovereign Hill is an open-air museum located in Golden Point. It offers a great experience where visitors can go into the gold mines and explore the area. - The Ballarat Botanical Gardens is a striking greenhouse and fernery to explore. Lake Wendouree is butting up against the gardens and is the best place in town for a walk or cycle and time of the day or night. - Ballarat Farmers Market is a vibrant marketplace showcasing a diverse array of locally grown produce, artisanal goods, and handmade crafts. Payment and Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House Rules
- SuitableForChildren,SuitableForInfants,- Please no loud parties with loud music or large numbers of additional people on the property, it is a very quiet rural area and we want to keep it that way.
- - No cars other than original guests to come onto the property and we ask that the guests do not go into the paddocks with the cattle. We are very careful not to introduce any extra food, other than what we can provide to our guests to give to the cattle.
